Director of Membership Recruitment Strategy

The Gathering Spot is seeking a driven and strategic Membership Recruitment Strategist to play a key role in growing our dynamic member community. This role will focus on sourcing, engaging, and converting prospective members through thoughtful relationship-building and the execution of targeted membership campaigns.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring inbound applications & assigning priority focus as needed
  • Weekly Meeting to approve all Pending Membership Applications 
  • National Reporting: Compiling Monthly Reports from Salesforce & reporting key stats and learnings to senior leadership team and relevant stakeholders 
  • Compile and analyze monthly Salesforce reports, providing insights and performance metrics to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Membership Qualification: Reviewing applications, conducting interviews and communicating with prospective members 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement membership campaigns that elevate brand visibility, drive engagement, and support recruitment goals.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in membership growth, sales, community engagement, or related fields

  • Proven success in relationship-driven outreach or recruitment roles

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect authentically across diverse audiences

  • Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
